MapCreate USA Topo 6.3 mapping software offers the industry's best value in higher-detail, topographical electronic charts for GPS navigation. MapCreate USA Topo charts deliver incredible detail, including enhanced shoreline and nav aids specifics for inland and coastal waters; excellent land detail for 49 states (Alaska not included) with major highways, city streets, rural roads, railways, key landmarks; and a unique, searchable database of up to two million points of interest, including marinas, restaurants, hotels, airports, emergency services, shopping, and lots more, along with streets and addresses, national parks and forests with boundaries, wildlife preserves, and other features.

MapCreate USA Topo 6.3 also includes a simpler interface than previous incarnations, meaning you no longer have to save a map border file before creating a map, and the new menu and toolbar layout help you find what you're looking for faster. You'll also notice pop-up information boxes for POIs, land features, and interstate highway exits, along with exit pop-up boxes that list nearby exit services. Additional improvements vary from new mapping data, with such bonuses as topographic elevations, public hunting areas, and game management units, to new hunting-specific symbols that make it easier to scout ahead of the hunt and mark important spots, including ATVs, turkeys, food plots, buck rubs, and more.

Owners of complementary software or memory cards will appreciate such additions as aviation searching, which lets you load a card containing a Jeppesen Aviation Database and search for items like airports and VORs, and the fishing display function, which accepts IMS Fishing Hot Spots cards and shows the fishing details on your computer screen. And because the interests of GPS owners vary so dramatically, Lowrance added a category options toolbar with a drop-down menu. The toolbar makes it simple to select preset or customized category settings for different types of activities, including aviation, boating, driving, hiking, and hunting.

Other features include an accurate routing function for adding POIs, land features, and aviation nav aids to routes with the click of a mouse; dynamic pan arrows that pop up when you move the mouse pointer near the edge of the map; and pop-up information boxes for POIs, land features, and interstate highway exits.

MapCreate USA Topo 6.3 software is compatible with Lowrance mapping GPS+WAAS products with digital media card memory (MMC/SD) capability.
